There has been an increase in scam phone calls, text messages, and letters. To help our policyholders remain safe and keep their personal information private, we would like to remind you of our business practices:
SIF will not:
- Use a third party to ask you for direct-deposit banking information or request a payment (we will notify you if this changes)
- Request payment by text message (Past-due notices are sent on SIF letterhead via USPS)
If you receive a phone call or text message from someone claiming to be with SIF:
- Do not give out your personal information
- Hang up and contact us directly (check our website for our authorized phone number)
